ABOUT
Stella S. Lee is a Los Angeles-based photographer. She spent her early life in the San Fernando Valley, exploring on her pink Huffy bike and selling Girl Scout cookies door-to-door. She cultivated a proclivity for observing the environment and people around her.
After working as an architect, she decided to pursue a Master of Arts at Ohio University, leading to work as a photojournalist in Phoenix, AZ and Bay City, MI.
Ultimately, she returned to Los Angeles and architecture; and remains active in both architectural and documentary photography. Her truest passion is expressed when she’s creating on her own terms—still observing the world with her camera. (She also still enjoys the occasional Do-Si-Do and Thin Mint.)
